• Mountain Supply can get you geared up locally, or Red Point, a well-stocked climbing shop in Terrebonne, OR.  At the highway turn-off for Smith Rock.  

We may live in a desert but water is all around.  Expore the Deschutes or Metolius rivers, a wealth of Cascade Lakes, or simply the local pool.

• Fly Fisher's Place - Knowledgeable guides, fishing reports and more.  Located in Sisters (another great side trip).
• Sun Country Tours - White water rafting galore!
• Tumalo Creek - Canoe and kayak rentals, and more.
• Juniper Swim and Fitness Center - Public gym and pool.  Well-equipped and maintained.

Everyone knows Bend is famous for skiing. 

•  Mountain Supply and Skjersaa's have rentals and more.  
• Mt. Bachelor and a whole host of Nordic ski trails are just a few miles up Century Drive.
• The Park and Ride to Mt. Bachelor is just a couple blocks away.

Extensive trails systems for mountain biking and great road cycling routes are just minutes from our front door.

• Bike rentals are easy and affordable at Sunnyside Sports or Pine Mountain Sports.
• The Central Oregon Trail Alliance maintains our local single tracks.
• Cog Wild Bicycle Tours can help get you up on two wheels and off in the right direction.

Need to relax after a day on the trails or the mountain?  Bend has more than enough to offer.

• McMenamins Old St. Francis School - Hit their nightly happy hour, take a dip in the soaking pool, and get out in time for a $3 movie. 
• Galveston Ave - 2 blocks down and full of local restaurants and cafes, including the newly opened 10 Barrel Brewery and our favorite, Brother Johns Public House.
• Or simply cook up a meal at the Refugio!  Rays Food Place has organics, bulk items, and fresh fish.  Newport Avenue Market has gourmet items and a killer wine department.
